Frequently Asked Questions


Below are a list of frequently asked questions I recieve from customers. Should you have any other questions, feel free to email or call me.

How do I make an appointment? 

You can now book any of the services directly through the website and across my social media channels (Facebook and Instagram). I also accept booking requests via email and telephone. Please note that I may not be able to take your call during a service. 


When should I arrive?


I ask that all first time guests arrive 10-15 minutes prior to their appointment to ensure enough time for a consultation and to settle in. 


Please arrive without any guests, unless they also have a treatment booked. This is to ensure that all guests can properly enjoy peace and serenity while visiting the spa.


What if I am late for my appointment?


It would be greatly appreciated if you could either call or send me a text as soon as you know. Arriving late will limit the time for treatment, so that the next guest is not delayed.


Please let me know if you are going to be over 20 minutes late, as we will need to reschedule to a different time that better suits you, so that you can fully enjoy and benefit from the experience.       


Is there a minimum age for treatments?


Facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures are appropriate for guests ages 12 and up; however, guests who are between the ages of 12 and 15  must be accompanied by an adult of 18 years or older. 


Should I shave/wax before a treatment?


Shaving is not necessary for massage/body treatments; however, if you do choose to shave, be sure to do so at least 2 hours prior to your appointment. 


Waxing is not recommended less than 48 hours prior to your massage/facial/body treatment. 


What is the cancellation policy?

All spa bookings and packages require 24 hours notice for any cancellations. 


No-shows and cancellations made within less than24 hours of the appointment will be charged 50% of the service fee. 


Do you have a loyalty referral  program?

Your loyalty is greatly  appreciated, which is why for every 4 services you purchase within the span of 3 months, you will receive a $10 THANK YOU BONUS card. 


For every guest you refer for a booking, you will receive a $10 BONUS card.

What about payment for spa services?


Payment is collected through cash or the Square App (we accept Visa, Apple Pay, G Pay, MasterCard, American Express, Interac/Flash).


Please note that a credit credit is required for booking Spa Packages/ Spa Parties. 


What about Gratuities? 


Gratuities are much appreciated either in cash or through the Square App. 

Are Gift Cards Available?


E-Gift Cards may be purchased on the website through the Square App.

What if I have health concerns and/or I am pregnant?


A consultation is provided prior to every spa treatment in order to ensure that I can provide the most comfortable and safest services possible. 

Please note that pregnancy massages are only available for women in their first trimester. Facials, manicures, and pedicures are appropriate at any stage of the pregnancy (provided there are no complications). Body treatments and body wraps are not recommended and may require a written doctor’s note. 

How often should I receive a facial?


It really depends on your skin type. Generally, you should be getting a facial once a month or at least once a season. 


Do you offer services to men?


At the moment, given it is a home spa, I am only offering services to men by referral. 

Do you offer receipts for your massage? 

Since I am an esthetician rather than an RMT, I do not provide receipts for insurance purposes.
